(Marketplace) Support for Slovenia

Hello!

About a week ago, I bought Xbox One. I was pretty shocked when I realised, that Marketplace is not available for my country, Slovenia. So I cannot buy games, Xbox Live subscriptions, which really bothers me, as I am not able to use the system to it's full
potential. For example, I bought Forza Motosport 5 with the console, but I cannot use any of the add-ons. I cannot subscribe for Xbox Live Gold, which is essential for the multiplayer experience.

So, I would like to ask you - when do you plan to add Slovenia to be able to use the Marketplace as without this, I will be forced to return the console as I cannot use it 100%.

Gold Subscription in Slovenia

That is because Slovenia is not a Live supported region. If you live in such a region you will experience issues purchasing/downloading content from the Marketplace.

 

Lacking Locations?????

I want to make an xbox live gold purchase for 1 dollar and i tried to go to setings -laungage and location and slovenia isnt there

There is no marketplace support for Slovenia because Xbox One has not yet launched there. A list of the next countries the Xbox One will launch in can be found here

This is just sad. Omg. Come on, this should be easy. Why can't you support country like Slovenia?

 

It's mainly down to your goverment & countries laws as to why Microsoft cannot launch xbox live in your country

 

@daft badger: this is a true Statement in many Scenarios. but i think this one is different because microsoft announced to start in 21 countries but reduced launch to 13. this has nothing to do with governments and laws as microsoft wont announce stuff they
have not been approved to do, so more likely having not enough ressources to do things properly (which they even didnt manage with 13 countries, eg no speech recognition) and focusing on the "important" regions first is the reasoning.

 

Como on xbox get us a chance to love xbox 360 and one for the singel player and multiplayer or people are going to buy only playstations because they can go online here in slovenia
