    Marketplace closes before loading on certain game?


    A couple months ago, when i had Xbox live, I downloaded the free game of the month "Deus Ex: Human Revolution". And after I beat it I deleted it so I had more storage room for other things. a few days ago I wanted replay through the game so I wemt into my
    download history, scrolled through, found where it was and tried to download it. After selecting it and waiting a few seconds for the Marketplace to load, the window randomly closes. I figure I just accidentally hit the Xbox home button and closed it. After
    attempting to open it again, it did the same thing. It just closed? I guessed that it was just the marketplace was down for a bit; up until I went into Halo: Reach. I redownloaded the "Noble map pack" easily. Market open, downloaded the maps, played 20 minutes
    later. Same thing when I went to Minecraft. I don't have Xbox live gold anymore but I've been able to download free games of the month before after I've run out of Gold subscription. I've tried all the forum suggestions and no progress. Tried restarting my
    router. Clearing cache. Deleteing connection Settings. Even tried going online and adding it to my download queue and still nothing.

    Gears of war 4 Xbox one S limited edition system

    I'm with everyone of you, it's an excellent game, loading times were up and down yesterday, but I only managed a few games before work. Day off today, going to be a gears bender me thinks. Will post back later / tomorrow with the loading results, either
    way, definitely a AAA game.

    And yes, like doc said, watch the credits to the end, but pay close attention to what a certain character is holding before they roll ;-)

    Access through Splinter Cell Conviction

    It took a while for the Xbox Live Marketplace option to appear on mine after loading the Conviction title screen. So give it a minute or two before pressing X.

    Do you get any error message before or after the game closes? Do you fully load into a game before it crashes, or does it happen during the loading process?

    Keep in mind mechincal hdds do fail quite often they have a limited life and can become corrupt

    Not so much ssd which is longer life and less moving parts

    Essentially all the shut down is doing is making it so you can no longer buy the games through the 360 marketplace. Everything else will work the same. So you can store everything on another hard drive if you want, but you'll still just be able to redownload the games once they're on your account as well. Licenses would work the same way.

    It appears to be all games on the 360 marketplace. I downloaded Firefox and now I can get to the checkout but before it finishes the transaction it gets stuck loading.
