Market Place Game Doesn't Work

I bought Black Ops 2 for 360 from the market place about a year or so ago. I played it a couple months ago and now when I go to "my games" and select "Black Ops 2" I get an error message that says the game can't be launched. Talked with xbox support via
live chat and went through the process of deleting and re downloading my account but nothing worked and they said it's a problem with the game and not my account. I bought the game on my other account but neither of my accounts will let me play it.

I entered the code from the box in the market place and it doesn't work.

Can anyone help me please?

Hi there - Firstly, please refrain from cussing as it will probably make people less inclined to helping you out, as well as contravening the forum guidelines.

Try un-installing the DLC from your Xbox, clear your cache, and then re-download the DLC pack. When you load up the game, as the cache has been cleared, you'll be prompted to download the latest patch again. If this doesn't work, please get back in touch
with Xbox Support, either via the forums, the ambassador chat, or @Xboxsupport

 

Delete your game (including save files). Clear your cache. Delete all updates via LB + RB + X on storage screen. Delete your profile. Clear cache again. Redownload your profile and game.

 

Already did all that and it didn't work. I talked with xbox support for about and hour the other day and deleted everything and re downloaded everything. They said it was a problem with the game itself and not profile or anything

 

If they determined that the issue was with the game then they would have refunded you right there and then. Most of the time it's a conflict with your licenses, console and/or profile. If you have access to a USB device with sufficient size, remove your
HDD, download your profile onto that stick when your HDD is removed, and then try to download the game then. If it asks for internal storage, then insert your HDD. Keep in mind that you _never_ under any circumstances remove your HDD while the console is on.
He probably gave you that answer because he had no idea. All support does is follow a flow chart wizard and give you the answers written on their screen. They don't have the "I don't know" answer to give you. So they give you whatever is most vague. I've had
issues with games, and I've tinkered around until I could fix it. I have the luxury of trying it on different consoles to narrow the problems down. So try it. Also make sure your licenses are transferred to your console

 

Alright so I have 2 accounts, on my first account I bought and downloaded the game. Then after a while it stopped working and wouldn't let me play it on that account to so I went back and did everything they told me to; delete profile, clear cache, re download
profile and I deleted the game and all saved data and re downloaded loaded it. It works now on that account. But that account doesn't have a gold subscription on it. So I got on my second account which does have the gold subscription but it won't play the
game, I get the same error message. I looked up what it could be and found that I'll have to do a license transfer so I can play it on my other account. But what I don't understand is why I have to do that if the other games that I've downloaded didn't make
me do that. I bought advanced warfare on my first account. I didn't do a license transfer and I can still play it on my second account. That's the same with Minecraft and metro last light. So why would I have to do a license transfer for BO2 if I didn't for
the other games?

 

Oh and I'm FEAR Oxy Ghost, i accidentally signed in to my other account and replied before I realized it was the wrong account
