So, I have an issue where the game is no longer connected to my Microsoft account. I cannot log in through the game's connection process.

If I try the Microsoft log in it pops up, I fill it out as needed but then it just hangs there. From what I have gathered in a little research is that Gameloft would have had to remove my credentials on their server side to block my log in (I believe). This happened to another game about a year ago with them also.

The game has been linked to my Microsoft account for years now but all of sudden after posting a critical review the next day its link is gone.

I am curious if my assumption is correct, they removed the link intentionally or if it's something that can be addressed by the app store? Either way I need to resolve this the game is not a 100% free game and they allow purchases on the account still. I verified this earlier today by making a small in game purchase which they allow the verification process to connect for that but won't allow it to link game and have access to on additional devices.

Yes, attempted to contact Gameloft with issue but to say their customer service was no help would be exaggerating. I was able to fix link myself by using a workaround to the authentication. By switching my MSFT act. to no password account using authenticator to log in. It wasn't a smooth process by any means I literally had to wait for the Authentication log in to time out as program not responding. Then when I accepted option to close program the link was restored.

I don't admit to knowing my way around the way the user log in system works completely but suspect their failed game update corrupted credentials on their server. From what research I could find it points to credentials to get out of their server to MSFT to verify account were deleted or altered. Somehow my switch no password forced a connection. I say that with a very limited knowledge of the process.

Have you reached out to Gameloft support about this? I would be very interested to hear what they say.

The reason I ask is that if this is the only game this is happening with, then it falls on their support to be able to help with a solution.

However, you can try checking the account link at our consent site here just to make sure the link is still active. You can attempt to unlink the account but be aware that with the account issues happening right now, it is no guarantee the link will be able to be reestablished.

Keep me informed of your findings and we can see what we can do to help.

Having the same exact issue. Even though my msft account is linked to my Ubisoft account. Everything is good on Ubisoft but not msft….annoying.

So the only way for my account to no longer be on her MSFT account and on mine would mean I have to lose 10 years worth of progression, achievements and such? Or me taking over her Microsoft account entirely
