    March 2017 Update: Microsoft messed up big time.


    Hey all. How's your weekend?

    I've seen a lot of recent forum posts on this site this week and how several people are complaining about the March 2017 Update which came out this week.

    It looks like Microsoft took another mono-lythic approach. Just like what they did at Xbox 1's Launch. And only a tiny percentage of people bother participating on this site and on the official feedback site. Yes the March Update is a bit faster, but I liked
    it before they released the March Update. And for those who say they did not mess up, a-hmm, Customer Service is a big thing in businesses and retailers, especially for a big business like Microsoft.

    Hopefully Microsoft will fix this and bring back snap and the features people liked with the previous version.

    I have noticed they've tried to mimic what Xbox 360's UI does when you hit the Guide Button! Yes they have CERTAINLY tried to mimic this with the March Update. But there are areas they still need to work on and how they did it, may not please a lot of people.

    March 2017 Update

    The new update sucks. The home screen was perfectly fine before. Now you've gone and made it more complicated and unnapealing to the eye. Press the home button once and it takes you to the side bar, where you then have to click a few buttons to actually
    get home. It was much simpler before.

    March 2017 Update: Microsoft messed up big time.

    I notice they've also added this new Stream thingy service too which takes up a good chunk of the dash. No thanks! Us Youtubers use our own PVR (Hauppauge or Elgato) which is a better Capture device.

    I have one console on the preview and one without. Disliked the new dash when it first came out, though after using both versions for the last month or so, now prefer the new dash.

    Same.Didn't like it that much when I first got it in the preview but I don't mind it now.

    Never used the snap feature anyway so it doesn't bother me.

    How Microsoft thought it was a good idea to get rid of features like the live game window in the dashboard is beyond me.

    Haven't been prompted to update yet, but it sure seems as if this newest update isn't going over well. Reddit/YT/Etc.. All I want is for BC to actually function like it should.. Still using the 360 for Borderlands because the X1 can't walk and chew gum at
    the same time. Figure of speech...

    The rest, dash etc. Well, MS, as they did with the forums is, for better or worse. Simply looking to mix things up a bit.
