    Map Packs and Matchmaking


    Hi, I've recently purchased two map packs for Halo: Reach, these being the Noble and Defiant Map Packs. The billing was successful, however, I cannot figure out how to access and play these new maps in matchmaking mode. Any ideas? Cheers.

    Unfortunately, it sounds like you need to buy the other map pack. I'm not even bothering with Halo: Reach map packs because I'm not paying to play one map over, and over, and over, and over again due to the broken matchmaking system.

    Which map pack is better?

    I was interested in getting one of the map packs, but not sure which one to get. So, I want you opinion on which map pack is the better buy based on forge editability and gameplay in matchmaking.

    You have to be in a match where everyone in the game has the same Map Packs as you.

    I haven't seen those map packs in matchmaking myself lately, you should at least be able to play them in custom games.

    Newish to Halo - Can you A my Q?

    The three map packs for Halo: Reach,
    Noble    ,
    Defiant    , and
    Anniversary    , are completely optional for Matchmaking. You do not need them to play Matchmaking.



    However, some playlists, such as the Anniversary Playlist, are restricted to be available to only player who have a certain Map Pack or multiple. The description of the playlist will explain what map packs are needed, if any. Most playlists can still use
    the map packs even if they are not needed to play in it.
