Map editor is for co-op only

Wow Ubisosft sure doesn't wanna sell any games do they? First the nail in the coffin for me was 5vs5 step down from 8vs8. Now co-op map editor only of 2 people versus ai and animals. Unless they patch it in later multiplayer editor and more players in
servers. That be only way they talk me back into this game.

No team death?

Not sure. They didn't even add the franchise main piece as in map editor for multiplayer. Only co-op map editor. Also game is only 5vs5. That's small for todays standards for shooters. They mentioned they might patch in multiplayer map editor maybe
down the road. But still who wants to put in 20+ hours making a map for people to get lost in and not find anyone to kill cause its only 5vs5.

 

I know the ubi forums are full of disappointed people....rightly so. I can't imagine why they would not include the Map editor like they did for every other FC game other than to gain $ by releasing PvP DLC. Which in my opinion would do the opposite. Unless
this games MP mechanics are as good or better than other main stream Fps games, the MP for FC won't last. Hence why the map editor was what kept fans happy. Bad move on Ubis part, doubt they are going to get many new players to their franchise let alone
keeping existing fans.

 

Edit- And if my theory is correct, they could make money by releasing new map structures or themes to keep fresh ideas churning.

 

Video shows this guy making his co-op map. Menu shows 5 waves for enemy ai. Second wave he put 6 or 7 down. With some credits left in the status bar. So
maybe 10 enemies per wave? 50 in all? Also can have friendly allies shooting at the enemies and friendly animals. Also shows the guy driving the snow mobile on the beach.

 

I can't wait to get some co op action going. One reason why I picked this game up.
