    Many problems upon hard resetting Xbox One S.


    So I constantly have an assortment of issues upon hard resetting my Xbox, the first of which involves my 4 terabyte external hard drive. Whenever i preform a hard reset upon turning the xbox on again it pretends that the hard drive isnt connected, I often
    have the unplug and plug in the hard drive dozens of times before it shows its connected again. While this solution does work it does take a random amount of tries and can be very annoying and time consuming. Another of the issues I have upon hard resetting
    is my witeless controllers also dont connect for several minutes, showing the blinking xbox button. Ive tried manually reconnectinf them, but it never works and I usally just have to wait it out for the xbox button to stop blinking. The final issue I have
    upon hard resetting has been proven to be rarer than the others, for me at least. My Xbox will not connect to wifi. The only solution I can find to this one is another hard reset, which im sure you can only imagine that this is the worst because I have to
    deal with the controller issue first. Anyway any solutions to even one of these problems would be greatly appreciated.

    Lost Connection to Xbox Live

    Ensure you have a strong connection, are you connected via either or Wi-Fi? I've had some issues with my Xbox One, but upon a hard reset, many issues were corrected.

    To do a hard reset, turn the console on, then hold your finger over the power icon on the console until it powers off, now do the same to turn it back on. Attempt to sign on again.

    Please let us know if this corrects the problem.

    Yes I've restarted it, did a hard reset, uninstall and reinstall, changed controllers, deleted my account on xbox one and redownloaded my s count. Nothing fixes the problem.

    Have you tried a hard reset of the console? A hard-reset is known to fix many of the random issues that occur with the Xbox One (such as this.) You can do a hard-reset by pulling the power cable from the back of the xbox one for 15 seconds and then plugging

    I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.
