Many Games Rolled into One

First off, had little interest in this game a didn't really care one way or the other. However, low expectation create big suprises, and I'm loving the beta.

So many games rolled into one. Clearly Halo gameplay, but has a smidge of Borderlands, What really surprised me is how much it made me think of Phantasy Star Online.

The Complete Saga, is that every Lego Star Wars rolled into one game, like an Orange Box type of deal?

Kinda reminds of a few ZX Spectrum games rolled into one BIG game (namely Fred, Boulderdash and Sabre Wulf)

 

really enjoying this game a few mechanics flaws I've seen so far but overall the experience has been top notch

 

like the SP and Co-op, but think the MP is messed up. Seems very unbalanced and getting spawn camped is way out of control.

 

Seems like the mp was tacked on last minute.

 

Personally, I like the game for the most part. Bungie's acumen and support along with plenty of content should give this title substantial legs. Agree w/ the OP that the game seems to be a pretty good combination of some good parts.

 

it has a bit of too human mixed in as well.

or what too human was supposto be fully before it was a launch title.i hope bungie gets in all in,and when its done its done.no rushy rush.

 

Love the MP campaign. Devils Lair is great. The PvP sucks though....imo.

A well rounded beta, with great music, an interesting story (so far), character customization, some RPG elements, a really chill fun hub with lots to do (soccer, bouncing ball, giant fan), co-op, player vs player, massive-multiplayer goodness, a superb loot
system (which I will forever be trying to obtain the best items), some challenging NPC foes, scary and dark scenes, and addicting gameplay. What more could you ask for? Oh, and did I mention dancing!?

 

I feel like a little bit of Mass Effect was there while playing a warlock.

 

I liked the PvP, didn't experience any spawn camping thankfully, and the Interceptor and Pikes didn't seem to be that big a deal. That turret seemed a bit overpowered but I didn't find myself getting killed by them a lot(but I did feel like getting kills
with it was too easy, but fun). Had one match where three snipers were posted in various high points making the match a lil crappy with the constant need to avoid them but overall my PvP experience was better than I was expecting, can't wait to get the full
game and see all the vehicles Destiny has to offer.
