Manufacturers defect on forza 4 horizon disk

the back of my Forza 4 horizon disk is pealing away. Now my xbox one can't read the disk.

since this appears to be a manufacturing defect you would think that there was away to contact Microsoft (being the publisher of the game) to get a replacement. Maybe I've missed some contact info some where for help with this. Anyone else had a similar
issue? What was done?

Unfortunately disk exchange is limited to recent ly purchased disks. Our disk went bad after approx 6 months. Xbox support was also unable to help. Was hoping someone else had a similar problem that had some luck in getting an disk exchange. Had this
been damage due to poor handling etc. It would be on me to get a replacement. However this appears to be a manufacturing defect which is some what annoying.

Hi I recently got Forza horizon 4 on the Xbox game pass. When my month expired I deleted the game. If I get Forza horizon 4 on disk, will my progress from the digital copy I got with the Xbox game pass transfer to the disk copy?

With disk copy you would have to trade in. As no retailer will take back a disk unless you can prove manufacturer defect on the disk once opened and it would be Store credit not cash

You are better off just selling it privately

It will probably run from Gamepass. I have Forza Horizon 4 both disk and from Gamepass and when I play it, it runs from Gamepass.
