    Manual Restart Issue


    Man, I've had my Xbone for a week... and already had to manually restart my console twice. The Kinect and hand gestures weren't responding and the "Settings" wouldn't open, but I could watch TV and play my games. What the heck is going on? I
    never had this issue in 9 years of owning a 360. If there is any official explanation as to why I have to manually restart my console after 3 days of fairly frequent use, I'd love to hear it. Other than that, the console is awesome... when everything is working
    as it should.

    "Can't Sign In" Error 0x409

    I did a manual restart, but that was separate from the MSCONFIG setup.

    I'll try doing MSCONFIG followed by a restart and post results here afterward.

    same issue, tried everything from manual restart, doing it through the xbox itself, and even tried to delete and re-add my account. Now my account cant get back on because it........cant sign in....still. I just wanted to play some xbox on my day off man..

    Steam,

    How do you have your Xbox One power set up? Make sure you have it plugged into a Wall outlet.

    What you may have to do is a factory reset of your system to everything reset on your system.

    best thing about the XBOX One is that you don't lose anything. You jus have to reload your profile and redownload your apps since its attached to your license and download history

    Can you please try if restarting your device solves the issue? It is important that you select Restart instead of shutting it down and then switching it back on manually in order for all processes to be fully closed.

    Does this issue still persist? Have you tried manually checking for Windows and game updates and restarted your device afterwards?

    Exact same issue here.

    Manually setting the controller driver to an Xbox one controller won't save after restart for some reason.

    Same problem here. Only solution we have is to restart game with the right players or block kinect camera and sign in manually. Definite issue.
