    Manual ejection


    Loaded a dvd, did not want to play. Eject it. Put it back, still nothing. Eject again before taking out retract itself. Now everything is stuck. Manual ejection doesn't work. What now?

    Disk won't eject

    Yes if you have already tried to use the manual ejection slot and that didnt work then you will need to send the system in for repair.

    There definitely should be a way to do that. There are steps at the following link for manually ejecting - since power cycling hasn't ejected it, I think method two might help:

    support.xbox.com/.../manually-eject-disc

    This tells you specifically where on the console to insert an uncoiled paper clip, to trip the manual eject (which ejects it with the power unplugged.)
