Manual DNS change dose not work

Discus and support Manual DNS change dose not work in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; need some help if anybody know how to fix the bug for when you are trying to change your DNS manually but it keeps going back to 0.0.0.0....     Manual DNS change dose not work


    need some help if anybody know how to fix the bug for when you are trying to change your DNS manually but it keeps going back to 0.0.0.0.

    DNS Change Bug

    Hi,

    Its been a issue trying to change DNS to manual on xbox One, only automatic works well.

    Theres going to be a fix for this bug soon? I need to change DNS to manual.

    Hi RoadKillgrill1,

    Sorry you're having some issues manually setting your DNS. First I would suggest trying to do a hard reset. To do this with the console on, hold the power button down for about 8 seconds until it turns off. After that try to set your DNS. If you're still
    having issues setting your DNS, try using a public DNS server like 8.8.8.8 to see if that allows you to enter it.

    You should try changing the wifi DNS to manual. That worked for me.

    For console players, you may need to change your DNS settings. The ideal DNS settings for GTA Online servers are: Primary 84.200.69.80 Secondary 84.200.70.40 Do adjust your DNS settings manually on Xbox One, go to the home screen, then Settings, Network, and then Advanced settings. From here you can go into your DNS settings and select Manual, to manually change the settings. Now, I do not know if this will actually work. It worked for SOME people.

    If that did not work, try changing your DNS. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings > manual

    Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

    then check again.
