nice every time there’s an update I get kicked off a game and it’s always when I’m winning thanks stupid update can’t wait 5 min no this sho s how inept Microsoft is when they are supposed to have great service and top notch service thank you onc again you
have caused me to lose game data and lose again and again I’m sick of it this has happened too many times and I’m bourbons ready to switch to PlayStation. Maybe I should I’ll stick to ps4

how about you guys make updates optional instead of mandatory. nothing made me more mad than when the system kicked me out of the game that I was in the middle of playing to download an update. also the system is almost completely useless if you don't have
it hooked up to the Internet, my internet gets shut off from time to time and if I have a game that I want to play and it has update pending for it I can't play it at all until it finally updates I think that's a serious design flaw

Stupid Preview Updates!

Im about to take my Xbox and throw that stupid peace of **** out of my window! Not only i have stupid updates for the preview program every two days if you start the Xbox, no you have **** updates while playing, god damnid! Its the third time in two days
i get kicked out of my game because you have to update the Xbox while playing!

Guys thats something that should not be, the same for the updates every two days! The only reason im still in the preview program is because you have to delete everything and reinstal it! Why? I can reinstal my computer and still have all my date on the
hdd so whats the problem?!

Set your console to instant-on mode. Updates will usually happen when you're not using the console and you'll never notice them.

I got the game downloaded but every time I go onto the game, I get kicked off of xbox live with no warning and for no reason. No idea why.

I can handle every other rumor going around.. the used game fees, the online check, everything else... but Kinect mandatory is what got me to just say no. Paranoid or not. I can turn it completely off, then why bother making it mandatory in the first place?
I should have the option to keep it wrapped up in the box if I want since I'd never use it for anything and never plan to.

I have requested such a notification several times.

Right now, you only know if an update is available if you manually go into Settings and have a look, or if the update has been out for long enough to become mandatory, then it gets forced upon you, which can kick you from what you're doing, or if you're
only just turning the console on, force you to update before you can connect to Live.

What they need to do is add a notification that pops to let you know an update is available, then when you go to the update section, it should tell you what date/time the update becomes mandatory, so you know that if you don't install it by then it'll be
forced upon you.

I'm also having game auto update issues. Was just playing mad max and got kicked to dash to install an update. Why? It's a single player game! Did I really need the update that badly it couldn't wait until I wasn't playing the game!! If it's a mandatory
update and I'm IN the game just go off line and let me keep playing. What a god awful system MS well done.
