    Yes, it is. The original licensing was only one reason for the mandatory installations; another is the slower data transfer rates of Blu-ray drives compared to the HDD (or even DVD drives).

    Actually it isn't. Microsoft pulled the requirement of installation awhile back. So now, as they said, "The way you play games on the Xbox One, will be the same way as you game on your Xbox 360 now., without the need to install the game to your HDD"

    Yes, it is. The original licensing was only one reason for the mandatory installations; another is the slower data transfer rates of Blu-ray drives compared to the HDD (or even DVD drives).

    I don't know, but given the size of the recent COD games I have always installed them. To me it runs better installed

    It does have a disc for install ... but im not sure of the installed size.

    From what I can tell the game requires the campaign to be installed to the hard drive.

    I have digital copy but as soon as I started the campaign I had to download 2 extra files. around 4GB in total.

    So I would assume the install disc would be the campaign files.

    I see people are worrying about space. Did they make it that you can connect your own hard drive to the xbox one and 360 yet?

    Yes as long as it doesn't say 'Requires Hard drive' on the box

    Just make sure you have a decent size USB drive.

    the campaign files will not fit on a 4GB flash drive so you would need at least 8GB although to be safe I would get 16GB or even 32GB so you have room for any future map packs

    cause games are to advanced and read/write speed from a HD are much much much better then on any disc. unless you want them to go back to cartridge games... disc reading isn't fast enough anymore.

    [cartridge would push the price per game to $100 easy]
