Mandatory Enhancement Upgrades

Is there a place where we can request a feature? Because nobody is talking about this and really should. I think it's unacceptable for it to be mandatory now to get the Series X/S enhancement upgrades, this wasn't always the case and in some confusing cases I can still play games like Skyrim and It Takes Two on my external without being forced to get an upgrade despite one being available. Whereas for example AC Valhalla used to be playable without an upgrade on the external but no more. It's said to be mandatory for the "best player experience" but I know it's just to sell more SSD cards, if it was for the player we would be allowed to opt in or out of upgrades and versions. PS5 offers this feature which is their best feature.

For the record the only external I use are Seagate 2tb hard drives. We really should have this as an option.

They likely reason for this is the necessity for bug fixes to ensure compatibility of the Xbox one version. Given how many people download the wrong version, we see it all the time here, combined with the fact that the developer may not wish to devote the resources to cross compatibility when there is already a series version, could explain the issue.

I'm not seeing this as a stand alone upgrade without paying the full 99.99 USD for the Operator Enhanced Edition itself.

Have you tried a wired connection? Have the Xbox directly connect to the Internet router/modem/gateway with an ethernet cable.

Wi-Fi signal may occasionally drop out due to interference and such. Let's try to rule out that possibility with a wired connection.
