    Managing saves


    Hello,

    Last time i've played on One, my game froze when i was saving. I must had restarted my xbox.

    I presumed so that this save is corrupted.

    Since then, i can't start the game. Either i select "continue" and i get an error, or i try to "load" and everything freeze then game shut down.

    What can i do ?

    Is there any way to get to manage saves somewhere else than in the game ? Where can i erase that last save but not all my profil's saves ?

    Question about HDD and managing game saves

    Excuse me if this has been discussed. When uninstalling games from the HDD, does the game save still exist on the console or just as a cloud save? I just uninstalled Wolfenstein and it appears the save is gone as well. That feels a little counterintuitive.
    Like I should have access to my saves whether or not the game is on the drive, similar to the 360.

    The save should still be on there.

    The game deletion removes only the game; the save is separate, but the way to find the save is this:

    Go to My Games & Apps, highlight Wolfenstein (which you cannot do), press Menu, select Manage Game and the game save will be on the right.

    However, if you played whilst online, the game save is also backed up to the cloud, so next time you play Wolfenstein (even if on another console) it will be able to sync from there if there is not a local copy present.

    Thank you, but unfortunatly they're only talking about one save for one gamertag..

    I'm searching how to manage all saves of one gamertag, in order to erase the last one on this game and get the previous one (and not erase all saves for this game and have to start from beginning...)

    Thank you, but unfortunatly they're only talking about one save for one gamertag..

    Hi there,

    as far as I'm aware, deleting specific game saves can only be done when the game in question is installed. These save files are extremely small in size and won't ever have any impact on your storage capacity. If you would still like to delete the file for
    peace of mind, the only suggestion I can think of is to re-install the game and then follow the steps below:

    How do I delete saves that I no longer need?

    You can manage your data for individual games through My games & apps on your Home screen. Here's how:

    1. From the Home screen, select My games & apps.
    2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select
      Manage game.
    3. Scroll to the right, highlight the saved data for your gamertag under Saved Data, and then press
      A on your controller.
    4. You’ll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
      • Delete from console will remove the local copy of this save. You can retrieve it from the cloud the next time you play.
      • Delete everywhere will remove your saved data from this console, the cloud and all other consoles you play on.
      • Cancel will leave your data intact.

    I'm pretty sure that on the Xbox One everything is saved to the cloud if you're online. If you're offline, it will sync everything next time you are online. Local and cloud will always be in sync when possible. I also believe that currently there is no way
    to delete your own saved games etc, as there is no manual disc management.
