Managing hard drive

Just a quick question. If I decide to delete a game on my hard drive that I purchased dlc for do I need to delete the dlc individually or does deleting the game delete the add on content as well. Just curious. Thanks!

Internal Hard Drive Replacement and max capacity

It is advised against changing out the internal hard drive. It will definitely void any warranty that you may still have on the console.

I know you are not interested in managing two drive but if you buy a large external drive you can move the content from your internal and make the external the primary drive and the system does most of the managing for you. The only thing that I have on
my internal drive is the OS. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Depending on the total size of games that have already been installed it is possible that the consoles internal hard drive may already be full. Please see the

guide here about managing storage.

If the internal hard drive is full a compatible external hard drive can be used to expand the console memory. Details about adding an external hard drive is also detailed in the link I provided above.

 

When you go to My Games and Apps and select a game, and then press start to "manage game" You will see icons for the game and every piece of DLC you have downloaded for it. You can manage them each individually if you want. Or at the top you will see a box
that says "manage all" which you can select if you want to delete everything at once.

 

I don't remember the verbiage, but it does prompt you to delete everything.
