Manage retrictions on your Xbox One

Since this isn't a support thread, I will be verifying myself so that users know this is a good resource, but locking it up so that we can make sure all users get the individual help that they are looking for when they come to the forums. For future readers:

I am not jumping the gun here, the console platfrom is capable of supporting both digital downloads and disc play and remain popular, your common consumer will go out and buy a game at launch wait in lineups and such, the 100% digital age should only come
when people lose intrest in buying disc media. People have come to expect certian ease with consoles and popular opinion is we want things to stay the same cause nothing is broken.



I own digiatal downloads, look at my games, cept i can play all these offline, as i can my disc games, no retrictions. microsoft is forcing a feature no disc in the tray that forces A unique DRM solution, and they managed to put more retrictions on xbla/games
on demand next gen. its ublievable, i can take my 360 to a fighting game tourny and use the games downloaded or on disc on here to play offline as much as I want, cannot with xbox1. So dumb.

Just because he shows silver on his name does not mean he did not use a 48 hour card to try to play this game guys.. Also to answer your question, and i am repeating this because someone already beat me to it. If your from certain regions and Usa is one
you cant change age retrictions the only way to fix the problem is delete the free account and open a nother creating the date with your parents info.

So wait, microsoft wanted to heavly restrict consumer rights and give us universal heavily retricted demos in return?

and people are going back to microsoft when they do a 180? You trust them after they tried to pull that off? LOL

I suggest you to set the parental controls for that console. The Xbox 360 console lets you customize and manage your family's access to games, movies, and television content. The Xbox 360 parental controls can be used to control both the console itself and
access to content on Xbox Live, including:

Which games can be played.

Which movies and TV shows can be watched.

How long each family member can use the console on a daily or weekly basis.

Whether or not a family member can access Xbox Live.
