Manage my child's profile info

Heya

I am trying to link my sons discord to his XboxOne and after scrawling through multiple threads with similar questions the answer seems to be go to family settings, scroll to the bottom and click manage my child's profile info as seen here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-account/a5212ee1-6ba2-49cc-80d7-0c0b67724d97

However, when I follow the current instructions (from here - see accounts for children under the statutory age: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...he bottom of,and then follow the instructions ) on how to access this mysterious Manage my child's profile info section it proves impossible as after completing step 1 - to go to family.microsoft.com - there is no link to manage my child's profile info.

I have attempted to discuss this with Microsoft support directly to resolve this issue with no luck and was hoping that someone here would be able to point me in the right direction.

Both the links are the instructions i followed to change the birth date, and it still made me end up on the blank page.

Alrighty, so switching his age to 30 and power cycling the Xbox did nothing. I then removed him from the family group and re-added him and that has solved my issue.

Now I've just got to manually set up some permissions to limit his activity I guess. Seems dumb.

Absolutely, most sites require an age requirement and usually, a child account is not allowed to do so even if the restrictions are already set to adult it will matter with their birthdate.

I have reached out to discord already on the advice of Microsoft support. Discord indicated it was an issue with the family safety settings for the child account and that I needed to enable 3rd party apps.

Yes they are all set to allow for the child's account
