Manage app privacy settings on Xbox

I'm on the "Manage app privacy settings on Xbox" page on the Xbox website. I want to click the "Privacy & Online Safety" button so I can change my settings as per the instructions on the website says and it simply keeps rerouting me back to the same "Manage app privacy settings on Xbox" page again. I cannot go into my settings. It feels like the website is broken or something. Any fixes? I need to turn off some privacy settings in order to play multiplayer in MSFS.

    :)

Manage app privacy settings on Xbox

Hi! My name is Pam. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

I'm sorry to hear that. To be honest with you, looks like the system is detecting that you own a child account as you won't be able to see the page if it's considered as child.

If it's not considered as adult, you really need to add your account to a family account so you can change the settings. Here's how to add your account under a family account.

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello AlesterLan, is your account is set as a child or does it belong to any family account?

If your account is linked to a family account, you'll need to sign out of it so you can access your account's privacy settings later, and then just follow the steps below.

    Is your account 18+?

    If not:

    Try changing it this way.

    https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Settings?rtc=1&a...

Go to the top right corner, click on your avatar

    click on my microsoft account

Click on "Your Information" on the top tab

go on the date of birth

Change to a date that matches age 18+.

Once this is done, log out your microsoft account from all open browser sites,

wait 20 minutes for the updates to take effect on the server, then click the link below.

    https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Settings?rtc=1&a...

For the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab

And change the settings "You can play with people outside of Xbox Live", "You can create and join clubs", and "You can join multiplayer games" to Allow.

Once all that is done, wait another 20 minutes to update the changed settings and that's it. :)

    Regards,
