Manage account only shows me US address options - how do I change my region?

I have an Xbox360 that I have had for about 6 yrs now. I have tried to update my credit card details so I can watch Microsoft Movies and TV, but the payment details section only gives me US States as an option. I have tried updating my region on my account
online, and it shows my correct address in Australia. I can't find a way to change the region on my Xbox360. Very frustrating, any help appreciated.

My Account Says I'm in the US, but I'm in the UK??

Hi all, I'm new to Xbox, and I've just created an account, only problem is that it shows that i am in the US, but I'm actually in the UK, theres no option in manage my account to change this????

What do i do?

Hi there,

this likely is caused that your account in it's base is still a US account, please see the following links for information, requirements and steps.

This link contains the information requirements and possible consequences etc: Update Microsoft account if Moving to a New Country or Region

See this link for the actual steps, make sure you understand the requirements and possible consequences before continuing: Sign in to your Microsoft account

That should migrate the account to Australia, the full process may take a couple of days, but usually is quicker.

Then a US address was used to create that Microsoft Acccount - which is why only a US addresse are permitted. You will need to migrate the account to the UK as per

When I try to purchase a new gamertag, it charges me British pounds instead of USD. I set my location to the US but it is still charging me for british pounds. I don’t know how to change the currency so I could purchase the gamertag change.

It would be your account region

Not your console region you have to change

This can only be done here under manage my account and change my region

Keep in mind if you dont live in thw us its not recommended you try to do so

As region locks apply to 360 games
