"If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it," he said in a statement to RT. "I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays."

The man saw an advertisement for Fallout 4 and downloaded the game, intending to only play "for a couple of evenings." But that's not what happened. He apparently skipped work to play Fallout 4, which led to his termination. The RT report also says the
28-year-old stopped hanging out with friends, while his wife left him, and his health started to fall apart apparently as a result of constantly playing the game.

Freezing is common in Bethesda games unfortunately, especially in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. Nothing you can do about in really, as Indy said a SSD speeds things up and reduces the freezes, but doesn't eliminate them completely.

 

And this ladies and gentlemen is exactly what is wrong with society today! Blame game....

 

Heh ha. Newbie. I made sure I had time off with no interruptions, texted everyone I knew telling them I was dead, and played FO4 for a week straight to the 100% completion... and then kinda, almost stopped. =)

I pop back now and then and do a quest or two, and add a coupla lights to my Weyland-Yutani light-sign outside my main settlement. {XD

I think it's hilarious that his better half left him. Pfft ha ha ha! Something tells me she'd been waiting for a reason to ditch this now jobless, non-contributing nutter. I hope the legal costs send him over the edge when his suit falls apart. {=D

If he sues in US court, he's sure to lose the case. but if he files in other parts of the world he'll likely win.

I've played about 70 hours and am pretty much done with it until the dlc comes out. If I played non stop that's just under 3 days which isn't really all that much time certainly not enough to ruin my life

 

Lol, doesnt suprise me that someone is daft enough to get themselves in that situation but only has himself to blame. Cant see this getting through a court in his favour, if it did it would beg the question who is the daft one.

 

So the case will be dismissed when by the fact that it was probably "Downloaded" as a torrent, Russia has the best sites,,,,,,,,,,,,,
