Malicious Hackers

Is there a way to include a message when you file a complaint about a certain player? I was playing Battlefield 3 yesterday in a Noshalr Canals

Team Deathmatch server. One of the rules clearly stated "NO SHOTGUNS" well, of course as soon as I begin, I'm killed by, guess what? A shotgun.

Well come to find out, THREE different opponents were using shotguns, and for those of you that know Noshalr Canals Team Deathmatch on Battlefield 3,

know that it is all close quarters combat, and shotguns are made for that. Well the other team has an unfair advantage, so I start using a shotgun myself in

self defense. Then my teammate surprisingly messages me and tells me "No Shotguns" I check, and he isn't an admin on the server, so I'm like "Why

do you care, and why do you tell me this when you yourself are being victimized by those 3 other guys" and he's like "I don't make the rules I just enforce them"

So I figured I would be reasonable, so I sent him a voice message saying I would put the shotgun away and use something else, but I also informed him I wasn't happy in doing so if the other 3 opponents didn't do the same. To this he replies "Talk louder
Hun!" So I quipped "Or maybe you should learn better English" Which was a friendly joke, because his grammar and spelling was just as good, if not better, than mine. And out of nowhere, he says "Well how about getting your XBL account banned sweetie! Ever
heard of DDOS?" And for those of you that don't know it, this is a cyber attack that prevents your account from reaching it's service provider. I was surprised. Why would he just all of a sudden threaten to disable my account? I was being more reasonable than
those other 3 guys, and I had already agreed to put away the banned weapon. (Funny thing is, those 3 guys didn't put away their shotguns, so I suspect they were friends in a party, and where I was beginning to dominate with a shotgun of my own, they wanted
me eliminated) I of course am taking this very seriously as I cannot afford a new console, nor do I have the inclination to start over on all of my games. So I file a complaint and the best option is to say he sent me a threatening text message. I block communications
with him, and submit an avoid player review. Now I want this player dealt with. I don't like hackers, especially those threatening to remove my entertainment. For those of you who know me, you know I play these games for recreation only, and it isn't fun when
others break the rules and you suffer when you follow them while your opponent don't. But what ruins the fun even more, is when malicious people claiming to be hackers tell you they might will ruin your account. I want my message to reach whoever has authority
around here, and I want this player warned and/or watched. People like this don't deserve to ruin other people's gaming, nor do they have the right to destroy other people's personal property. The gamertag of this individual was [Mod removed], and hopefully
someone that carries influence will see this, and make sure that guy is dealt with. I hate to post something negative here, because personally I love Xbox Live, and I want to be able to enjoy it without party poopers like that one ruining it.

Malicious Player

I was just referring to you can get the same experience by playing older cod titles. I did make a mistake and get mw3, but that was my mistake. I do play many games, and I am somewhat a fan of cod, but the newer titles are the exact same. I did just pick
this game up again because my old copy fails to play anymore and will put a little more time into farcry 2 until the launch of 3.

But this year I did something I have not done since I started playing online. I was always a big fan of cod and I never missed a launch and always played a cod title to the end. Although I did eventually break down and get mw3 3 weeks after launch, a first
for me, as I usually get it the day it hits. I put the game down in favor of skyrim, I tried to play mw3 again last week and was unable to put up with the game. I do play older titles but that's it.

Now I am looking for other games to get back into because I am done with buying any future cod games.

And don't tell me to get the battlefield series I played older titles and hate that series also.

 

Why is Microsoft ignoring theft from my XBox Live and Microsoft Billing Account?

I've never heard of jtagged consoles breaking non jtagged consoles disk drives. I have heard of disk drives breaking from wear and tear.....

 

Reporting on your console is the only way to report hackers, no one from microsoft will see this.

Unless the person has used a hack to add that shotgun to the game, they will not have violated the code of conduct and microsoft will not act.

If your internet connection has been attacked you need to report that to your ISP, as they are the only ones that can do anything for you.

 

You shouldn't mention his gamertag

 

Thanks OWENKILLER. And thanks for the heads up with ISP, I'll check that out, if that ever does happen. And I didn't know microsoft wouldn't see this SILVER8Knight, that's why I mentioned his gamertag. I want that guy to be known for what he is, and what
he has threatened to do.

How about just Avoiding/Muting/ Blocking and reporting any unwanted members through the console features???

 

He hasn't called out anyone again.

 

Yeah BongKaos, this was my first and my only post, that guy is the only one I have called out. I don't know who you're talking about but it isn't me.
