Making your home XBOX

I purchased 2 Xboxes so I can have one in my bedroom and one in my living room. Can I make them both my home xbox to enjoy xbox live and gamepass? It seems it will only let me do one of them.

No you cant. But if you are signed in on xbox live, then you can enjoy the online benefits from any console

As people here have stated, one home console per gold membership and others can use that same xbox to enjoy your benefits of gold, but only on your Home Xbox. Also you are limited to the number of times you can change your Home Xbox. That number resets
every year.

Can my family enjoy the memberships on both as well or only the home xbox?

one may be the main one and in the other you can share the gold and gamepass so you don't pay more

You can only set one console as your Home at a time, but if the Gold and Game Pass were purchased on your account you can use them on any console as long as you are signed into Live.
