Making two accounts one.

So way back, I had an account on my main email address and that xbox live account hasn't been used in years. I also have a second account that's tied to a throwaway e-mail which is the one I have used a LOT over the years. I do not remember how this came
to be and it was never really an issue until now.

W10 won't let me log into my active xbox account because it uses my MS account, which uses the same e-mail as my long defunct first gamertag and this bothers me now that Gears of War 4 is being released and I'm planning on playing it on PC.

I have asked in the past if it was possible to fuse the two accounts and was told that wouldn't be possible, which I understand. However, would it be possible for me to simply nuke the first account and change the e-mail of my second account so that it's
tied to my MS account?

I guess the short version is that I somehow ended up with an active MS account tied to an inactive Xbox account and an active xbox account tied to an inactive MS account. Can this mess be fixed?

Even Xbox players have families

You can have two people play it by making a second account on your xbox one and setting them as family. Then you can play on the main account on pc and the 2nd account on the xbox.

Ea Access Question

I have two different account on my Xbox one for me and one for my son. If I got ea access on one of the accounts could the other account play those games.

Since you have two account make sure to pick a main one to play on. Also, choose which one your going purchase games on. Sometimes it gets confusing when you have two accounts and make purchases on both.

I would check your subscriptions on the account make sure you did not accidentally set up two subscriptions. If you see two of them then cancel one, or if there may be a subscription on two separate accounts charging the same bank account.

I couldn't make a local account, it asked me to either make a Microsoft account or to use an existing one. I do use two different accounts on my computer, one for the Xbox, and one for my PC, but I have had this setup for some years.

use home gold console sharing...

why not make his console your home console... he gets access to all your games, apps and gold subscription benefits... meaning he does not need a gold account saving you some money... also any game you buy is available to that console and yourself.. meaning
you only need to purchase a game ONCE..

when you purchase a game.. you get 2 licenses... one tied to your home gold.. one ties to your account...
