Making my Home Xbox not working.

Short story. I gave my girlfriend my old xbox one (that I haven't used in years) and was going to set up game share. That Xbox had a update and we ended up having to factory reset because it wouldn't get past a black screen after boot up. She made a account, and I logged onto it on my xbox and made it my home xbox. She then logged into my account on hers and tried the same thing, but it just spins when she hit the "Make this my home xbox" button. No error message or anything.

Help please!

I had to actually install the report a problem app before I was able to see the option. Once that was installed, it worked as intended.

The only really issue I encountered was having to report the issue using my account instead of the account we were attempting to set the home xbox for since it was a child's account. Hopefully that isn't and issue and if it is, I'll need to come up with a work around.

I really hope we get an update about this soon. Because this stuff is extremely frustrating

Well it's seems like that Xbox should be looking in to this because this will end up screwing up a lot of people who rely on game sharing.

Ok networking games is working now thankfully.

That's what I was thinking. I have a Series X and she has the original Xbox one. Only thing is I know people that has the exact same setup and works for them
