Making me purchase games again???

Ok, so for the past couple of months, I've been feeling a bit nostalgic and have been wanting to play some of my older games from way back when. Thing is, I'm getting charged for these games again! What's even more interesting is the fact that I have all
the DLC's that I paid for, just not the base game. One of them being CoD: WaW, I checked to see if the DLC was owned, and sure enough it was. Same thing goes with Prey. Bought deluxe edition and can only download the DLC pack but not the base game, unless
I want to pay another $30. Best part of this is I can go on my Xbox app and look at these same exact games on the Microsoft Store and it literally says "Install on Xbox One" but of course, pressing the button does nothing at all. I feel like something scummy
or fishy is happenening and they're trying to revoke licenses for games that I've purchased a while back and wouldn't think I would notice. I'm preparing for litigation if this is certainly the case, but has anyone else realized this? Can anyone possibly tell
me what's going on? I'm hoping someone can just tell me that I'm dumb and that there's a certain way to get these games back, because I'd like to avoid the legal route if I can.

if they show on the pc store as install but on the xbox and purchase then you are either using the wrong account, or you need to remove your account and re add it back on the xbox.

Quick resolution:

1)Open Warzone

2)press start>general tab>near bottom select ‘Game Installs’

3)install all of the ‘Multiplayer packs’

4)install ‘multiplayer & special ops pack’

Boom!!! Your now good to go 👍🏽

To get to Modern Warfare multiplayer:

Open Warzone game, on main screen go to the right where it says Modern warfare and select multiplayer

I am having the same issue an everything I've tried has done nothing but waste my time an honestly piss me off I need help from Xbox support an am getting none.

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > General > Network setting > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address: clear

Then, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps
