Making friends on XBL

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that the social aspect of online gaming as disappeared. Not among friends, of course, but among strangers. When I go into a game by myself, the lobbies are completely silent because other players either refuse to use a
headset or they're in a party chat. I've gotten to a point in my life where most of my online family have moved on to other games or personal offline adventures, so I have fewer and fewer people to play with.

I'm interested in bringing back the social aspect of gaming: meeting complete strangers and making friends for life to share experiences with. That is what I miss most from the days when I played Halo 2 and would make friends without effort because we
were all involved in making friends and having a good time.

Should I get what I want, or what my friends want?

If I was in your shoes I would buy the same console as my friends, but like Wh1t35hadow says if your OK with making new friends on XBL then get the console you want. Truth is you can't go wrong with getting either, both are good
consoles.

Why you lie Microsoft?

You can text to friends on the console. They just do this to stop troll making dummy accounts who may not even have a xbox 360 and who may scam people on XBL or they may troll by sending messages.

I`ve got a problem with this War Stories o because most Xbox live players are now using there kinect as there microphone during game-play. Just like to add
Stop. It's obnoxious for your entire team to have to hear everything that's going on
within your home For example Your TV and it`s way too loud. As much as i love to hear you
"Shooting Players" and someone using the vacuum cleaner/hoover in the background for an
hour or two so they can clean up your mess, i`m going to give it a
HUGE miss. I know you can just Mute Them but It`s hard when there are
(16 - 18) Xbox live players In-Game. i feel like sherlock holmes ^_^
