    How do I get rid of the avatars and see my friends and my pictures on the xbox one?

    Ever since the update on 4/26 it shows avatars not my customized profile picture or any of my xbox friends customized profile pictures. How do I fix this? #PLEASEHELP

    They have avatars on Xbox One?!?! Where?!?!

    I agree with my bf. It's pretty obscured compared with how they do it on Xbox 360. They need to show more of our avatar on the dash, like they do on Xbox 360. But this idea of revamped avatars is cool. I remember this Australian kid who I defriended who
    was obsessed with avatars. He lol like changed his avatar appearance everyday, and sometimes changed his gamer picture to go with it.

    You need to take a picture of your Xbox avatar within the avatar editor. To do this, you can just click on your name here in the forums. That will take you to your Xbox.com account page. Choose Edit My Avatar and then Gamer Picture from the menu within the
    avatar editor. You can choose a background color and make your avatar do expressions. Click on Take a Picture. You can take up to three pictures. Select the one you like and choose save. It can take a day for the new avatar picture to appear next to your gamertag
    but it will appear! =)

    How do you get small gamerpics?

    One of the best ways I could think to do it on the Xbox One would be to use the picture of the Xbox 360 avatar as your profile picture in the Xbox Original Avatars editor. Other than that, if you go to Xbox.com you may be able to put it to one of the classic
    gamerpics there.

    well that is not true, you can change it like mine were you can take a picture in the avatar editor on xbox.com and make one like customkristoff did for his gamer picture

    (I did use an xbox to change the background to what is on mine and halo's)

    now like halo said you cant do an one that you purchase on the live market place, can purchase avatar items though

    You can't use anything for a gamer picture other than the icons that came with your Xbox, the ones available on the marketplace, or the the ones you create with your avatar in the avatar editor.
