Making account Xbox home limit

if you are the only person using your new Xbox then you won't need to make it your Home Xbox unless you want to play offline.

if someone else wants to play on their own profile you can sign in first then switch account/profile and they will be able to sign in and play all your games and make use of your subscriptions (Live Gold and Game Pass)

The home xbox setting isnt a toy

Every time you visit someone you DONT need to make it your home console

You can use your content as long aa you login into live

Ita for your personal USE not everytime you visit

I dont believe there is a way to get that reset. You will most likely have to wait until more changes become available.

refers to setting the account as primary or secondary in the console. you can only change it 5 times in a year
