    What type of payment are you using? Have you made sure you have enough to cover the taxes and surcharges as well?

    Hi there Sam,

    Please tell me what you were trying to buy it with. Credit Card, Debit Card, Gift Card, Paypal?

    There could be a issue where you dont have enough funds in your credit card/debit card.

    Can't make purchase on Xbox but instructed to go to Xbox to make purchase

    Not 100% sure but unless your son is trying to download the items from anything other than a xbox 360 then you would need a credit/debit card or paypal linked to the account even though the item is free.

    Pretty much all avatar items were only released on the xbox 360 & you need the payment options I mentioned linked to your account to download any xbox 360 items if you are trying to download them from any device other than a 360.

    Hi,

    That is the same message that appears when trying to contact support for me too. We understand that it will most likely be due to the servers crashing or lack of staff due to Covid-19. I would suggest to try again in an hour or 2 if there is any updates.
