Make Xbox 360 see a USB flash stick.

Hello everybody.

Few moments ago I faced a today common problem - my Xbox doesn't see just bought brand-new Transcend JetFlash 350 USB 2.0 stick. Xbox 360 doesn't care that stick is plugged in the console, stick is not showing up in storage device for configuring (Led in
stick is blinking that it work but Xbox doesn't see it).

There is any tips/tricks to do this or there is no chance to get Xbox see that drive, my second one from SanDisk work just fine.

Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

Will a PNY - 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive work on the xbox 360 slim?

Get a compatible USB stick and put the saves from your old 360 onto that
support.xbox.com/.../usb-flash-drive.

Is the USB disk locked, I know sometimes they can be locked and the system will not detect it.

The other thing I can suggest is try using the stick in a different USB Port on your Xbox 360. Or even try re starting your Xbox 360 and see if it notices it then

That's why I posted a question there, SunkNath.

I tried almost everything from other Xbox Ports to format to another type (NTFS, FAT32)

Tried to turn on console with stick in it, cleared cache.

And about locked USB, I dunno: I can transfer files from PC on USB and read them/delete.

Is there anything that can help?

But as I said, USB is brand-new and working. (Even LED light blinking while it plugged in PC/Xbox 360

I'm having the exact same problem with my brand new flash drive. I can't find any info on how to get the Xbox to detect it other than making sure the drive is formatted using the FAT32 file system. Which I have done multiple times using my computer. It's
a brand new Sandisk Cruzer Glide 16gb USB 2.0. My 360 is the old white model from 2007. The LED on the flash drive lights up when plugged into the Xbox. The ports are ok because other devices work just fine when plugged into them. I've been trying to get
it to work for a couple days now and have run out of ideas on what the issue might be. Thank you for any and all help.

 

Have the same problem with Transcend jetflash. It's seems they are not supported(
