'Make this my home Xbox' not sticking.

Whenever I try to set my Xbox as my home Xbox, firstly the page takes forever to load, and secondly, I press it, wait a while, and it doesn't apply, the checkbox is still blank. Tried power cycle, hard reset, etc. Nothing worked.

Any help? Also doing the same thing on my brother's console which we're trying to gameshare/share live gold.

This is a outage Microsoft is having right now. Other users are having the same issue today. They're trying to set Xbox as the Home Xbox and it's not working. They tried to remove and add the account again, tried to add another account to the console and even tried to factory reset Xbox and still nothing. After checking the box, it will just load and then get unchecked again, same issue as you:

Microsoft is aware of it and will probably fix it soon. Pleae wait a few hours and it should be solved.

Hiya Lucas, thank you for the info. Turns out even though it's not visibly checking the box, the function does actually work.
