    I know they have to keep sending money for us to have free games on Game Pass ultimate. But at the same time $30 a month is too much. If they would have made game pass a yearly subscription I would have stayed on Game Pass. They could be making so much more money just by making it a yearly subscription. Instead, they had to become a monopoly and rip us off. We will keep using Game Pass ultimate if you make it a yearly subscription. But I'm guessing it'll be a cold day in Hell before that happens. If so then fine. But have fun losing more customers. Because the reason why you made so much money in the first place, it's because you made your subscriptions yearly. You could do it again if you made it yearly. But until then, have fun having a dead console.

    Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

    I've been a member of Xbox gold since the 360 was released. Happily paying a yearly subscription. I want to upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate but it seems there is only a monthly subscription. I deploy frequently for work and don't want to manage a monthly subscription.
    Is there a way to get a yearly (or larger) subscription. It's the only thing preventing me from going to Ultimate.
    Unfortunately there isn't a yearly subscription offered at this time you can only go by monthly installments

    How do I change my Xbox ultimate game pass back to basic live gold

    Either cancel your current subscription or make sure recurring billing is turned off (at http://account.microsoft.com) and then once the Ultimate completely ends, you would buy the new subscription. Keep in mind that Gold was discontinued so you would need to buy Game Pass Core which replaced it. There is no longer a yearly subscription though. If you want to buy 12 months at a time, you'd need to try to find prepaid codes.

    What should also be pointed out, is that Game Pass Ultimate is also giving you a growing library of games for yor PC too. If you did subscribe to GPU then any existing subscriptions would be converted and lost if you cancelled before it ran out.

    Your best option, if you don't want the PC games, would be a yearly Gold subscription and a monthly Game Pass subscription.
