Discus and support Make Blu-Ray available offline in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I find it very ridiculous that I have to be connected to the internet to play friggin DVDs on my Xbox One.     I find it very ridiculous that I have to be connected to the internet to play friggin DVDs on my Xbox One. What were you guys thinking? Guess I'll go watch DVDs on my PlayStation.

    SO SICK OF XBOX LIVE AND XBOX ONE PROBLEMS !

    Go offline and the blue ray will work. I'm playing a dvd offline now.

    What I think MS needs to do is make it easier to access Netflix or YouTube online where the xbox live is offline.

    A quick question for any owner of Shadow of War

    Isn't it not worth it to make fake games considering the price of a Blu ray writer and the Blu ray discs?

    I actually had the same issue but found you can play offline. It was an issue just needing to fix with clearing the persistance storage settings under blu-ray in your settings. Tech support on the chat fixed that for me today while i was getting my internet
    service switched.

    Faulty disc drive. I'm not amused

    I have downloaded the update, i've downloaded the Blu-Ray app. I've tried games and Blu-Ray movies, all make the grinding sound and all will not read.

    Have tried disconnecting from power also to no avail.

    Make sure you have the Blu-Ray app installed. Blu-Ray player function uses dvds too.
