    Lots of people have a first name and year of birth on their gamertags. It does cost to change your gamertag, there was a special offer of it being a bit cheaper, not sure if that is over or not now tho.

    Well, thanks for that... They should at least make the system able to recognize which GamerTag is being changed so that it excludes that, allowing you to modify your current GamerTag :/

    You'll need to make sure that you meet the requirements to be able to change the e-mail associated with your gamertag. Some things that can stop you from being able to change the e-mail is if the e-mail is being used by another gamertag, the account in question
    is not older than 30 days. There's also a lot of other qualifications, and you'll be able to read about them

    Hello, are you able to try changing your Gamertag through the Xbox Companion App on a Windows PC or directly through your Xbox console (if you have one)? If so, I'd advise changing the Gamertag through there for the time being.
