Majority of games don't download

So, i have an Xbox 360 that seems to not download some games. For example, I was able to download Battlefield 1943, The Orange Box, and Slender: The Arrival just fine but Halo 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and Adventure Time Explore the Dungeon get to about
80% then the download stops and a message pops up like "Can't Download Halo 3", for example. I've been trying to fix it for the last 24 hours and nothing has worked. I cleared cache, deleted and redownloaded my account, formatted my HDD, tried downloading
games to a Flash Drive, and i even have 90GB left on my HDD, but nothing works. Is there something I've not doing correctly or is my Xbox just broken? Thanks.

if you dont like the free game they are giving away don't download it they are not forcing you to, i personally have been quite happy with the majority of games given away so far.

 

Majority of games not loading

Only a select few of my games, both digital and disk, won't make it past the start up screen. It'll start to go and take me back to the dashboard. I've uninstalled and reinstalled them multiple times. Done a cold shut down after uninstalling them too. Also
done a cold shut down with them reinstalled and still nothing. Everything was working just fine yesterday.

 

Does your account region match your physical location? That's usually a sign of a region issue.

 

I just tried changing my billing address and my console locale but that doesn't work either.

As noted above, this tends to happen when there is a region mismatch. We recommend ensuring that your account region matches the region you are physically located in for a stable Xbox Live experience. You can find information on changing your region on our

What if i live in the UK, but have an APO address?

Thanks for clarifying. Since you're in the UK, you'll want to follow the guide above to change your region to reflect your physical location. You do not have to change or update your billing address. However, be aware that once you change your account region,
you will have to wait 90 days to return your account to the US region. If you are scheduled to PCS back within the next 3 months, it might be more prudent to wait until you return CONUS to download your games.

Thank you, but i have one more question. Will changing my region on my Xbox 360 also affect my Xbox One? I haven't had any issues on my Xbox One with this problem.

Changing your account region should help with some of the region issues being encountered by being in the UK but it should not affect your Xbox One experience.
