Major Xbox Live connection issues, with great network speeds

So, recently obtained a day one edition Xbox One, the home screen works fine, scrolling through menus works fine, and even connecting to the wireless connection is fine, average detailed network stats are roughly... Download speed 11 MBPS, upload speed about
7-9, packet loss at 0%, and latency around 69-80 ms.. Not the best, but I've seen worse with no problems. I have done everything you can think from a power cycle to restoring the whole console.. And I am unabe to hardwire the console. I will connect to the
wifi just fine, and then I select connect to Xbox Live, and it takes forever to even activate I selected it, then once I do get connected, I cannot do much. Netflix will load and load for up to ten min, until I get a connection error, playing games takes forever
to sync with the cloud, and once I get into say Black Ops 3 I have major lag with connection speeds higher than friends who have NO issues. I've looked into account issues, tried other accounts and the same issue (and like i said the console has been reset,
re-set up.) When I power cycle or even just turn it off, I have to re-connect to the wifi, re-enter the password and everything, it does not remember the network. My accounts works fine on another console as well.. At first I thought maybe the Network adapter,
but If it was the network adapter I shouldn't even be able to connect to my wifi, the only other thought I can come to is that it is a issue with the console being it is a day one edition, and I've known many people have many issues with day one edtions.

If there is anything else I can try you may think of, and this is what I've done that I can remember now, power cycle, hard reset, changed from 1080p to 720p, delete and re-download account, factory restore the console, making sure all connection setups
are set to automatic, delete and re download the games or apps I have had issues with, and removing interference (which there really was none)

I really think it's just due to it being a day one edition and Microsoft is somewhat known for their day ones to not be the best in hardware..

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

nope... cloud still relys on a strong internet connection.. the more they try and offload onto cloud the more data transfer speed you will need... the more speed you have the better server's they will need... its a catch 22.. it looks great in theory and on paper but most people are not on a business or high end connection... most are on basic digital dls connections.

look at bf4 and the rubber banding issues... recently they switched over to faster servers and walla 64player patches not act semi normal graphically...

it looks great to say well it is only installing 15g of memory.. but its pulling the other 60g from a network live/real time.. to many open variables imo.. most of the united states network is still not the greatest. and im not willing to shell out 80bux for a higher end dsl connection to play games.

I see. It sounds like there is some delay happening. Are you experiencing any lag or other network issues on your end?

what is the brand and model of the modem and router you are using ?

 

I'm actually not sure at the moment but I will find out.. but are there any that are not supported.. at least on Xbox one? Like my 360 works perfectly fine. Netflix, hulu, multiplayer

 

there are a few that do not work with xbox one , some arris , superhubs , and tecnicolor have wireless connection issues......if possible , try and move the xbox close enough to test with a wired connection so you can determine that it is/isn't a wireless
problem .....

 

that's one of the bad ones....hardwire it or give it back to your isp and get your own modem and a separate router (netgear) .....

You are a freaking genius.. tried on another router elsewhere and Netflix loaded fine, games started installing fine.. since resetting, I have to re download my games so I haven't checked lag but it seems the router is the issue... Thanks so much, I love

Glad you got it figured out.....I think that router will work ok hardwired bit if you have to be wireless. I would switch it out... .
