    For the past three days I have not been able to play any games, apps, ect. due to the fact that my Xbox 360 will not load anything. and I feel that the community and I deserve compensation for time lost at LEAST. P.S. over the last year or so I feel Xbox
    has just been going more and more down hill I mean.. When you have to pay with you're hard earned money. you have to pay for any game want to play, you have to pay Xbox $60 yearly subscription, controller, headset, any other accessories I might buy, oh and
    I can't forget any and all DLC add-ons of ever bought for any game ever. And you add all that up and this is the way you treat your Xbox community you're unfortunately going to get an unhappy customer.. I have spent many thousands of dollars on the Xbox 360
    and you can't make this work properly what on gods green earth makes you think I'm going to pay and additional $500+ (just for the X1 console not including any games that you know are going to be no less than $60-50) just so I can have more problems with the
    Xbox 1 than i do with the Xbox 360. It's truly eye-opening from the customers point of view. And with all of that in mind can you please!!! Fix this issue, I think a refund would be a good way to start the upward treck of the hill for the community and Xbox
    alike.

    Hey there techmanscott! Have you tried deleting your profile from your console (you can leave it on the USB stick, just unplug it), then clearing your system cache, then redownloading your profile?

    If not I would try it in this order:

    -Unplug the USB stick from your console.

    -Delete your profile ONLY from your storage device (do NOT delete profile and items; use this guide:

    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete
    ).

    -Clear your system cache (this guide:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache
    ).

    -Restart your console.

    -Redownload your profile (use the first guide again).

    Let us know how that works for you! ^_^

    Hi everyone, I recently had some trouble downloading my xbox live profile back onto my xbox as I had used it to play at a friends house. The way around this was that I downloaded my account on my brothers xbox which is no more that 8 feet away an used
    a memory stick to transfer it over. Now that I have my account back on my xbox I have another problem it seems. My connection to xbox live it fine according to the "test xbox live connection" section but my xbox is extremely slow to do anything. Adverts on
    the dashboard aren't loading, my recommendations aren't loading, my pinned games list isn't loading and I can't go online on any games without it disconnecting me as soon as I attempt too. I've checked my NAT type and that's open and there's a lot of other
    things I've checked but still can't seem to find a cause. I believe it is todo with my xbox itself and not Internet. Please can someone help me?

    Nobody should be paying $60 a year for XBL, it is easy to find 12 month cards for $40 online. Your system includes a controller and headset, so you don't have to pay for that. You also aren't forced to buy DLC. The Xbox One isn't having the same problems
    as the 360 is having. It does suck that there is a problem but they are aware of it and are working on it. The most you'll get out of them is a month of XBL, they definitely won't be giving out any refunds. You don't deserve anything other than them fixing
    the problem.

    I agree with you that it does suck not play your favourite games, but honestly what is a few days away from the couch going to do to you? It will show you how addicted you are to your console...so get out and smell the roses!

    On the other hand, a have XB friends in the US and they have no problems what so ever...So why are Canadians being punished sort to speak with this? I want to play my games not online if there is a problem...heck i will play the campaigns I don't care...just
    don't freeze my XB when I launch the game.

    Whether the OP is paying $60, $50 or even $40 is beside the point. People pay for a premium service and if the service doesn't work as intended, then they have every right to complain. I also don't get why you brush the OP off with your DLC comment either.
    Just because it's optional content, doesn't mean it's suddenly a moot point in any complaint that crops up. After all, every single full game we purchase for any platform is an optional purchase. Doesn't mean i agree with his refund comment, but there is
    a happy medium to be struck.

    The problem is, people have gotten so entitled. Complaining on a forum and expecting some sort of compensation (in his case, he wants money), is pointless. If you want to complain, go chat with support. Any other service that isn't working properly that
    you pay for, you contact the company and tell them, not come on their forum to complain. Sure there is a happy medium, they offer a month of XBL or a $5 gift card. Though chances of them doing anything is unlikely, unless the problem lasts for a week or more.
    After all, they don't guarantee any sort of reliability of their service, so they don't HAVE to provide any sort of compensation for an outage.

    Don't like it, go someplace else.

    I'm getting my moneys worth and having a few days out of the year of no access doesn't make me label a service as bad.

  11. It's not about the compensation at all it's about the fact that I want my gaming system to work after I pay $60 for something that doesn't work that's what I like to call a "rip off" my friend...

    problems right? You may call this a rant to Extreme but when I get on once a day and every time I get on there is something dodgy happening to me that's not once a while, that's every day,(P.S. i'm sure it couldn't be that toothpaste and deodorant ads on our
    dashboard because I know those help)

    I don't pay for YouTube and I still run Into less ads than on my Dashboard.

    If you have not already done so have you deleting your profile from the console and then reload it to see what happens. After this the final thing you could try is to carry out a full factory reset on the console to see if that resolves the issue.
