    Major problem powering on XB1 Elite


    Hi guys

    I would really appreciate any help from the volunteers.

    Here are the technical problems with my XB1 Elite:



    1. Although the power supply brick and XB1 may be on, we just have a blank screen. It often won’t recognize the HDMI connection.



    When the console is completely turned off, the TV suddenly recognizes the HDMI connection, which is bizarre.



    The console may work for say 5 occasions but then I won’t be able to turn it on properly for another 30 occasions.



    2. Games, apps, and the console dashboard often freezing/crashing.



    My attempts to fix it.



    · All home equipment checked and is fine e.g. TV, HDMI, plug sockets etc. This includes changing HDMI cables, and changing the HDMI port on the TV



    · I have tried a complete hard reset many times e.g. holding down ‘power’ button for 10 seconds. 95% of the time this doesn’t work



    · Following Microsoft’s troubleshooting advice, I have tried to reset the display settings by pressing ‘bind’, ‘power’, and ‘eject’ for 15 seconds but this has not worked

    Do you guys have any suggestions?

    Xbox one tv doesn't power on with start up

    Following the recent update for the XB1, the problem with the tv powering on has fixed itself!

    Powering on problem

    Having trouble with powering on my XB1.

    All voice commands work except for the "Xbox On" command. Yes, I have the "Instant on" option turned on and yes the "wake up Xbox" option on. All other commands work just fine, so not sure why this command doesn't work.

    Also if I try to turn on my XB1 with the controller, the controller just flashes and never turns on the XB1. If I then manually turn on the XB1 the controller gets in to a weird state...keeps flashing, never connects to the system and I have to pull the
    battery of the controller to the reset it.

    So basically the only way to turn the system on is to manually hit the button.

    Any thoughts?

    Me too, for me and my controller it is nothing major. But still if something major did go wrong (and for those who have had major problems) for me personally, I would much rather pay the cost of a standard controller (60 bucks) to send in my elite and
    get it fixed than buy just a standard controller for that price. With Microsoft releasing certain items tailored to a specific audience (elite controller, xbox one x, the gamers who want the extra power/options) it would be nice to know that the item itself
    is backed up by the producer for not just a warranty but any customer paid fixes you may need in the future. Granted this is all if the problem can actually be fixed, I know in some cases the item may not be fixable.

    vG GHOSTS,isnt it m8,it seems completely backwrds..windows 8 laptop,check.knowing this doesnt it make you think it wont be soley on the xb1,as the xb1 is pretty exactly the same runnings as windows 8 anyway,could it end up the majority is done on a pc and
    majority played on xb1?

    XB1-stream-to-Win10 no longer work, keeping asking me to sign in my XB1 with same account

    For more information, I have already tried:

    - power cycle the XB1

    - delete my profile from the XB1, then add it again

    Problem remains the same.

    Upload Studio: Voiceover Button is greyed out

    Same problem here. I have the headset adapter, the Elite controller. I've also tried it with my stock controller that came with the XB1.

    The XB1 has been hard reset.

    The controller has been updated.

    The option is greyed out no matter what I try.
