Major Issues Since Latest Update

Before the factory reset I could not bring up the sign in menu at all nor could I access any apps, setting etc. It just sits there for ages. I could launch a game at the time but pressing the guide button causes the screen to dim and I couldnt go back without
a reboot.

After the factory reset I select my language etc, get to the network page if I pick a WIFI network i get no onscreen keyboard at all, cant enter my passcode for my WIFI just a dimmed screen. I can hear noises if i press buttons as if something i happening
in the background.Have to reboot the console to get back to the setup again.

If I use an Ethernet cable I can skip the network setup and get to the profile sign in page. From there a circle spins round and round for ages and never stops. If i press the guide button on my joypad the pad just switches off.

 

I also cant run the system diag tool. When I try to launch that I get an E101 error which I believe other people have also received since the update.

 

Afaik a E101 indicates that the console needs to be serviced indeed.

 

Yeah was guessing that would be the case. Not impressed with the Xbox one at all. Nothing but problems with it since I got it

 

After the last update my control and more a lot of people is randomly disconnecting!

 

Hopefully, now Microsoft will see that there are actually a bunch of people here experiencing the same issues. Kept having a support person tell me my issue was "isolated" and I was the only one experiencing it. Hopefully MS will take some responsibility
for their problem they created with this new patch. Hate to tell you Microsoft, but if more than 10+ people are having the same issue, all around the same time the patch was released, basic logic should tell you that the problem is your fault, not all 10 of
ours.

 

Update from me. Still having the issue. Did a google search and others have had this problem before after other updates. Some suggest it's the power supply which I've been fiddling with (changed plugs and laid it upright rather than on its side, sounds asinine,
but it finally stayed on long enough for me to boot a game) I guess we'll see. Sucks that the weekend arrives and all I want to do is game and have to wrestle with this crap to do so. *sigh*

 

Just a update i have done the following to try get past green screen

1. Factory reset - still not fixed

2. Hard reset with all power cords - still not fixed

3. Hold on button front of console for 5sec wait it to turn off - still not fixed!

4. Called Microsoft they said unfortunately you have to send it to us 7-10weeks!

Yet i brought it from JB HI FI and they won't swap it over even tho its under warranty! Yet again im getting *** over! This is my 2nd console... My 1st one was a Day one edition this disc tray broken now this one a Titanfall edition! Seem's like shops need
to exchange on spot instead of waiting 7-10 weeks! Its under warranty for *** sake!

 

Ever sense the September update my Xbox keeps shutting down on its own when I watch videos from any app and Xbox video. This is a day one Xbox and I never had a problem with it before.

 

This may seem strange but my xbox has worked ever since i did this! Put it on its side with usb port facing up! Its strange but like i said my xbox works now!

Your should NEVER place your Xbox one like this. You will not only damage the disk drive by that but also destroy proper ventilation and you will lose your warranty!

 

I dont use disc drive and my xbox works now! All my games digital! Also im pretty sure it has enough air for it.

 

Also how can i lose warranty...

A. I never opened console

B. Its already broken as im trying t9 fix the *** console

 

Microsoft clearly said multiple times, that the one is not intended to be placed like this and this makes you lose your warranty.

 

How would they know i did it?
