Major error, anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, today I came home with a pre owned copy of Battlefield 4. I inserted the disc and waited for the installation notification to pop up. Nothing happened and so I waited for a while, still nothing, eventually I ejected the disc to check for cosmetic blemishes
just when the installation had started on my que. I put it back in and once again it detected nothing. I went on the blue ray app and still nothing. I tried other discs and the same problem occurs. I've never experienced this before and so I pulled the power
cable out hoping a hard reset would fix this. This actually made things worse as I continued to be stuck on blank screens or the start up screens for an indefinite amount of time. Eventually I received an error screen with error 303. I then called up xbox
support who took me through a number of solutions including a factory reset. All which proved futile. I now have to send my xbox one in for repairs which will take several weeks.

I do not blame the manufacturers or myself. The xbox was in perfect condition and has never shown a single problem until it randomly went haywire today. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows the cause of this.

    Thanks

    :)

    Anyone experiencing disc error?

If it's the grinding issue then videos suggest flipping the console on a towel (protect its shiny top) and a sharp thump to help "align" some drive motor cogs. Or contact support if you prefer to not beat the console up.

Digital requires no disks, I better test a dvd just to be sure mine is OK thinking about it.
