    Mahjong screen launches but Mahjong game will not launch


    Hi,

    I've been using Mahjong for some time and, overnight, it refused to launch. The Mahjong app screen launches, I click on select game, this launches, too. When I select the game I want to play, it looks as though it starts launching but then simply closes down
    the whole app. No warning, no error message.

    I've uninstalled, restarted laptop and reinstalled game. This does not fix the problem. I found some instructions on a post with a similar issue which I followed It said to click on the Windows logo + X and then enter the following command.

    powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

    This did not fix the problem. It responded with a 'cannot find path' message:



    Add-AppxPackage : Cannot find path 'C:\WINDOWS\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml' because it does not exist.

    Solitaire & Casual Games freezes after launched.

    UPDATE!! I rebooted my PC, after the previous installation of Microsoft Mahjong, launched Microsoft Mahjong and opened OK. I launched Solitaire & Casual Games from within Mahjong, and it opened OK! It didn't work before the reboot, but now it did. Thank you!! I already closed and opened Solitaire & Casual Games and it continues working fine.

    I managed to launch Mahjong and Solitaire in airplane mode, but this does not work for wordament, taptiles, or snap attack.
