Mahjong on Surface Pro 3 stops responding to taps during game

I've been trying to play MS Mahjong on my Surface Pro 3. But for some reason, at random times the game will stop responding to taps with the stylus. The Undo buttons work - I just can't tap on any tiles. I can tap on the arrow to return to the menu, and
re-entering the game makes it responsive again. At least until the issue re-occurs.

I've played other games with the stylus without issue, including MS Solitaire. Do you have any suggestions?

MineSweeper: Can't Sign-In

I'm also having this problem on Surface pro 4 for Mahjong and Sudoku. Just downloaded and tried minesweeper and it's doing it there too. I actually have no problems playing these games on my old Surface pro 1 (with windows 10 installed on it too). The only
game that works on surface pro 4 is Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

 

Mahjong Journey G5 not showing gaming history.

I have a new Surface Pro 3 and the Mahjong Journey G5 game doesn't load my game history or namertag. I have to start over. I'm logged into Xbox and Microsoft. My Sudoku and Xbox Live Mahjong games loaded my history and signs me in.

 

Actually, it happens with the Typecover mouse as well. And it doesn't happen in Solitaire or any other app I use; just Mahjong.

We are aware of some strange thing's going on since the last update and we are working to get them ironed out and fixed as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

 

No worries, just hoping for an update. Game is basically unplayable without constantly flipping in and out of the menu.

 

I'm stilling having problems with 4 games: Taptiles, Microsoft Solitaire, Microsoft Mahjong, and Wordament. Each morning I have to uninstall and reinstall each game to get it working. I'm running Windows 8.1 after upgrading from Win 8. I had the problem
with Win 8 as well.

For some weird reason, each night when I completely turn off my computer, the next morning the games will load but then shut down and sends me back to the Start page. So, I have to uninstall & reinstall each game. Then they work fine. I'm totally perplexed
as to why a shut down of my computer would cause this. This problem has been going on for so long now, and it's still causing a lot a lot of people to have problems with them. Will there ever be a fix?
