    They don't seem to particularly care! no response for quite a while and the problem still persists

    It's not only an Surface issue. Same on Asus Slate EP121 with windows 8.1

    After some clicks it's not possible to pick a tile.

    @SnobbishBeast2 I sincerely apologize if somehow I gave the impression that I do not care because I absolutely do. I offer support on these forums, support via email, and even have my Facebook account linked in my signature so I can provide support there
    as well. I'm not sure what else I can do to show how much I want to help people fix their games. =(

    I apologize for not responding on Saturday or Sunday but I was ill this past weekend. I try to check the forums even on non-workdays so I can provide the best possible customer support.

    As I stated on the other thread also discussing this issue, I am continuing to investigate this and it has been reported as a bug just so we can check if there's anything we can do on our end. I will pass along any additional information you give me (thank
    you, @B Friedrich, for letting me know that you're having problems on your Asus Slate). Please remember that bug fixes do take time and multiple teams. I appreciate your patience and those of you who are regulars in this forum know that I will post any information
    as soon as I get it.

    this was not a dig at you personally. you might want to let the team know that things are worse now, the application crashes whenever I try to load some of the daily challenges. Every attempt yesterday at loading the classic easy daily challenge crashed
    out of the application and today I have tried loading the lightning tiles daily challenge and once again the whole application crashes and shuts down.

    @SnobbishBeast2 I did report this as a bug and it seems that this is specific to these two Daily Challenges. We are in the process of looking into getting this fixed ASAP.

    For me it started before the jan 14 win8.1 update, and neither the update, nor the surface pro 2 firmware fixed anything. I can play the game without resizing the tiles as long as I pick the tiles with my fingertips. If I use the pen, it locks up after a
    few clicks. I have no problem with the pen in any other software, except MS Mahjong. All win8.1 update have been installed, surface pro 2 firmwares are up to date.

    I may need to escalate this issue as this appears to be due to the Surface update on January 14th and not an issue with the game. This is happening with other apps as well that have active touch controls. This seems to be a known issue as it's being discussed
    on the Surface forums but I'll see if I can get in contact with someone from the Surface team.
