Mahjong Daily Challenge for 5 July

This game was rated easy but I have played it over 100 times and cannot solve it. Who rates these games? If this game is easy I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell. Has anyone solved this one and if so what is the secret. I have given up on it.

The Daily Challenges Megathread

Just when you thought it was safe to go into the water and play the Mahjong daily challenges - 5 consecutive days (2/10-2/14) of normalcy; the spinning tiles make a return appearance today (2/15) on 2 of the daily challenges. Whatup!? What makes 2/1,2/2,2/5
& 2/10-2/14 daily challenges so special that you can actually play every challenge without issue. And the tip for manually loading a Mahjong update doesn't work for me - other app updates are listed but Mahjong isn't.

 

All July Progress Lost

In Microsoft Mahjong I had all of July up to current, minus three days of the daily challenges completed. Now all of that progress is missing.

Please help.

after about 60 plays i could complete this game.

i agree i have never seen so tough challenge rated easy.

it should rate expert

there is no secret. you have to move fast to solve the game

 

Lighting is more a moves challenge, speed is not important.

Keep a matching pair that are out of the way so you can back up if you get stuck.

If you do that you should be able to find a solution with out needing to start over.

Yes it is more difficult then many of the other lighting I've completed.

 

I can't figure it out either and I usually solve each day, even expert levels. Why someone would say play it fast to win doesn't make sense. It's the number of moves that matter, not time. I get the first 2 tiles with ease, 14 moves remaining. The 2nd
set is done with 9 moves left or so. But then I can't find a way to the 3rd set. I've tried so many different ways that I can't see another. Easy my foot! I've tried going a different way that took the first set down to 2 moves left, but it made no difference.
The 3rd set of tiles were still blocked.

 

Got it Squirrel! I had to back up a few times, but the trick is to go after the last set as you're going for the first and second. Once the bottom two rows are flat, 1 tile high, you should be able to see it.
