Mahjong achievements reset daily

Can someone help please? Every day my achievements, high scores & game history except daily challenge scores are reset to zero. Having the same problem with Sudoku & Solitaire. Running on Windows 8.1 using a local account. To use the games I sign via the
XBox account but in the game it still says I'm not signed in but lets me play Daily Challenges that I couldn't get without an Xbox account. I don't want to go back to using a Microsoft account to sign into my PC as the internet connection isn't stable in my
rural area.

I found my daily challenge coins being reset.

*All* of my MS Surface games reset the Daily Challenge values this morning (Minesweeper, Solitaire, Mahjong).

 

Achievement Counters Not Working

I just started having issues with achievements not unlocking. Should have gotten the silver daily challenge achievement, but the counter remained at 9 / 10.

Also having issues with Mahjong achievements not unlocking.

Just to clarify, are you currently connected to your network when you try to play this game? Also, have you tried reinstalling this game to see if this help to resolve this issue that you are experiencing with this game?

 

Yes I am connected and have signed into the Microsoft account first before playing. The Xbox icon says "signing in" then displays as not signed in and asks you to install the program for free to activate the game. Have done this and lost a whole month in
Sudoku so have kicked that program, in Mahjong it makes no difference whether I choose Install or Cancel . If i choose Install it tries to make me switch to a Microsoft account for the PC, then it says to sign into the Store and change your account preferences.
I haven't been able to do this on the local account because It says I'm not connected to the internet even though obviously I am otherwise I wouldn't be able to get that far. I've been trying for 20 minutes to sign in and randomly it's now started working,
says I'm signed in and recovered all of the medals and achievements!! This is the first time in a week this has happened. I have lost all of my high scores 2 other times previously that have not been recovered though. Every time it's a different result. While
trying out Microsoft Mahjong again and writing this, I deleted then reinstalled Solitaire and got back some but not all of the history. It seems to have lost everything played and won from the days after 8th April. I need to know how to make these games stay
stable?

Have you tried resetting your network and signing out of your profile on your PC and then back into your account? Are you currently using a wired or wireless connection?

I shut down in and out of my profile multiple times and disconnected the internet connection each time. I always completely shut down and turn off the PC and internet connection each session due to power surges. I have a wireless connection and there's only
the one PC. I've just logged on again and Solitaire is at the same stage as my last message, everything after 8th April lost and Mahjong is where I left it. They both connected & signed in without being signed into Xbox as they used to before. I'll see how
it goes....
