    Hello, I was wondering if I could buy Mafia II on xbox live and install it on my external HD (USB)? I have an xbox 360 console.

    I need this info because I don't have a SATA HD. Will it run on an external HD (Seagate expansion drive 1tb)?

    Thank you for your support. Yes, I've been using this HD for several years (only for xbox 360). I was asking because there was a description on xbox live, saying it would require HD to run. But now I think they should delete that message because most games
    don't have it. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men also have the same message, maybe I'll buy it first cuz it cost less than Mafia II.

    you should be able to...after you format ofcourse but that shouldn't be an issue.

    if you format the drive to run in the xbox yes but remember if you do that this drive is only for xbox
