Mafia 3

I keep hearing that the story is great, but that the missions are extremely repetitive. I've made up my mind. I'm going to get it, but I will wait. It seems like it will go on sale rather quickly.

 

All games are repetitive, it's just a question if you find it enjoyable or not.

 

^^ Yes to a degree, but some are way more repetitive than others. I've heard/read this one is really bad.

Again I can only go by my own experience with it, others will be the opposite but I've not found it repetitive like a lot of open world games.

Without giving away spoilers but there's certain characters that are involved in the main story but they also have optional missions to do so I split my time between these and the main story. Then I might just have 1/2 hour picking up collectibles or performing
mini tasks ( my name for them )

This works well for me

 

It might work well for me too Lofty. I don't usually do all side missions to completion or all main quests until completion. I break them up. A main mission here mixed in with scavenger hunting and a few side quests and then a new main mission and then
some more exploring etc etc.

Mind you saying that, it is hard to pull myself away from the main story. In my opinion it's that good, just like watching a great TV show, oh just one more to see what happens lol

 

Did anyone here play Mafia II? That game was FULL of bugs and glitches, it does not surprise me that this is the same. Falling through the map, crashing/freezing in the same spots of the game, texture popping and glitched achievements. Story was great and
gameplay was fun so it literally sounds like the same game, haha.

 

I played Mafia 2 and it was one of my favourite games of last gen, can't say I remember having any bugs in that game though. I recently started playing it again too and it's been fine.

Mafia 3 took me back to the dashboard and graphical glitch once though.

 

I don't remember any bugs on 2 but long time back.

I've had it dashboard on me twice since last post but thankfully you don't lose progress, just a case of loading it back in.

 

I don't remember having issues with 2 at all. Can't make up my mind about getting this one though, too many differing opinions and a lot of glitch posts on my feed!

 

Finished the main story tonight, absolutely brilliant.

And I know Brand and a few wondered but it looks like you can carry on with any side/optional missions that you didn't finish.

Genchy, as I've said to others mate, it's a brilliant game, best story in a game I've played in ages but and I've been lucky, very few issues, nothing game breaking but others haven't been so lucky so just iincase I'd suggest waiting until issues have been
fixed at least and by then price may have dropped.

 

Think I'm getting close to the end now, still abit to do. Not had too many issues either, have been dashboarded a couple of times, try to steal a car one time but couldn't get in as it was floating slightly, but nothing major Imo. Great game well worth the
asking price
